Facial acupuncture protocols
Facial acupuncture is suitable for men and women of all ages. It is
particularly relevant to people in their late twenties to mid thirties who
wish to retain their youthful appearance and most effective in women between
the ages of 40 and 55.
A course of treatment runs for ten sessions, each lasting
approximately an hour. Change in facial condition is usually apparent by the
seventh session. Each person is treated differently acording to his or her
lifestyle and underlying condition prior to treatment. This may include the
taking of Chinese herbs which support the acupuncture making the treatment
specifically talor made to meet the individual's particular needs. To
maintain the effect treatment is followed up at three monthly intervals.
Contra indications
Those suffering from pituitary tumours, coronary disease,
diabetes, high blood pressure, migraines, hepatitis, cancer, HIV/Aids,
vertigo, tinnitis, Haemophila, potential effects of prescribed drugs, broken
blood vessels and skin allergies are advised this treatment is not suitable.
It is also not recommended to have treatment during an attack
of the common cold or flu or an alergic attack, are pregnant and if you have
had a botox injection within the last 12 months.

Treatment Programs
Program A
Ten treatments twice a week
Program B
Ten treatments, two a a week for three weeks and then one
treatment a week for four weeks.
Program C
Ten treatments, one per week for ten weeks.
Follow-up
Once every three months
The Cost
£500.00 for a course of ten treatments and £50 per follow up
appointment.
